Background:

ACROSS partnered CRS to provide aid to the survivors in Batticaloa and Galle.

Food was distributed weekly in Batticaloa and children’s programs (songs, games,

coloring, balloon sculpturing, etc) were offered in Galle to help the children recover

from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

ACROSS - Aceh

Michael with one of the survivors of the devastating tsunami at his house which was being rebuilt with the help of the Diocese. 

One of the 121 houses built through funds from the Diocese.
 
ACROSS - Pakistan

ACROSS provided financial support to Global Teams (USA) for the purchase of insulated corrugated metal sheets for the survivors of the earthquake.  These temporary shelters were useful insulators against the cold during winter and against heat during summer.

ACROSS also provided financial support to Crisis Relief Society (S'pore) for their school building project in Pakistan. 
 
ACROSS - India

ACROSS provided financial aid for the victims of the tsunami in southern India.
