ACROSS is a crisis relief ministry under the Diocesan Mission Board of The Diocese of Singapore.

Objective
The objectives for ACROSS are to offer a Christian response to the people affected by natural crisis (e.g. earthquakes, tsunamis, typhoons, severe winters, droughts, etc.).

Our Logo

Our logo was professional designed by Mr Kelvin Marc Tan who offered his expertise without charge to us as his service to God.  (Thank you, Kelvin!)

Our Strategy

Our modus operandi or mode of operation is to partner a local church or Christian organisation to provide relevant relief to victims of a natural disaster such as earthquake, cyclone, flood, drought, etc.
We do not dictate what needs to be done but we respect the culture and management of our partner on the ground. We endeavor to support their relief work and aim to enhance and strengthen their relief efforts.
On a case-to-case basis, we may consider long-term rehabilitation and reconstruction partnership with the local partner.
Our offer of help is unconditional, unbias and solely expressing the love of God to those whom we are in contact with. We respond in obedience to God’s commandment “to love our neighbours as ourselves”.

Our Calling

In the physical realm, we offer relief in practical ways (food, water, shelter, medical aid, etc.) and in the spiritual realm we offer hope that is found in Jesus Christ.

Our Response

ACROSS responds accordingly to the needs of the crisis.
Examples of our past responses are:
- Financial Aid (Egypt, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Pakistan, Aceh)
- Medical Aid (Yogjakarta)
- Food Aid (Mongolia, Iran, Sri Lanka, refugees in Thailand)
- Reconstruction (Aceh)
- Shelter (Pakistan, Yogjakarta)
- Trauma Counseling (various countries)
- Children programme (Sri Lanka)
- Others

Through our help we hope to share God’s love to them.
